Bakersfield Commons is a visionary master-planned project in Bakersfield, California, meticulously designed to cater to diverse lifestyles and community needs. This 202-acre master plan encompasses a diverse array of amenities, including 800 two-to three-story apartments, a 250-room hospital with an associated cancer center and medical office buildings, a 300,000-square-foot retail lifestyle center, as well as light industrial, flex warehouse, and office spaces. Additionally, it features a limited-service hotel offering 120 guest rooms. The Retail District features Zone A, a Neighborhood Center providing daily retail essentials. Zone B, the Lifestyle Center, offers a vibrant collection of national retailers, dining venues, and entertainment options centered around a picturesque “Commons Green,”. The Residential District offers a range of housing options from multi-family to single-family homes, including senior assisted living facilities. The Wellness Campus District focuses on healthcare services with a hospital, medical offices, and general office spaces. The Office/Industrial District accommodates diverse businesses with office, industrial, and flex tech spaces. This holistic approach to community development integrates retail, residential, wellness, recreation, and business opportunities, creating a cohesive and vibrant urban environment.
