Entitled with traditional wood-frame construction in mind, the client approached AO to convert this affordable development into an efficient, modular community. The redesigned 6-story podium building comprises 301 units on a 1.7-acre site while maintaining the original elevations and design vocabulary. Collaborating closely with the client and modular manufacturer Autovol, this project was the first multifamily project off the line for the new factory and resulted in 301 modules craned and placed in just 18 days. Community highlights include a 9,450 SF rooftop amenity with an urban garden, outdoor barbeques, and lounge for Senior residents to embrace. In addition, a 15,440 SF internal courtyard on the podium level extends the amenity space atop the fitness studio, community rooms, and lobby on the ground level.
