Orange Coast Medical Center Emergency Pavilion Expansion

The Emergency Pavilion remodel and expansion enhances both capacity and care delivery through a thoughtfully phased 5,000 SF addition and 9,000 SF renovation of existing spaces. The design introduces a new patient drop-off and ambulatory entrance, improving accessibility and flow. Inside, the expanded layout includes a larger waiting area, 22 updated treatment rooms, two triage rooms, and a dedicated FastTrack zone to better evaluate urgent cases. Executed while maintaining uninterrupted 24-hour operations, the project balances complexity and functionality, ultimately strengthening emergency services for the surrounding community.
