Set along historic Route 66 at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains, Opus transforms a long-vacant 13-acre site into a vibrant mixed-use residential community that celebrates the history, landscape, and evolving identity of Rancho Cucamonga. The development introduces 351 apartment homes, neighborhood-serving retail, and a collection of thoughtfully integrated amenities designed to foster connection, recreation, and everyday living. Inspired by the region’s agricultural and winemaking heritage, the community draws from the character of local vineyards and mountain vistas to create a distinctive sense of place. At its center, a landscaped paseo links residents to courtyards, gathering spaces, and pedestrian connections that extend to nearby parks and trail systems. A defining feature of the project is the transformation of a utility easement into a dynamic linear park featuring open lawns, dog parks, event spaces, and outdoor activity areas, turning previously unusable land into a meaningful community amenity. By embracing the site’s unique challenges and opportunities, Opus creates an engaging residential environment that enhances the Foothill Boulevard corridor and contributes to the continued growth of Rancho Cucamonga.
