The project consists of converting and combining two existing warehouse facilities and site redevelopment into a 130,00 SF Tier 3 colocation data center facility. The building was reinforced structurally to meet local stringent seismic code requirements and includes data halls, offices, and support spaces. The data hall space was maximized with requisite MEP infrastructure spaces. The initial build includes 8 MW of critical IT load with a total capacity of 12 MW. The electrical design includes block redundant distribution with N+1 PDU, UPS, and generator redundancy. The mechanical design required the study of two alternate cooling schemes in order to maximize efficiency and minimize the PUE of the facility.
