ROLE

Design Architect
Architect of Record

A transformative mixed-use development that establishes a novel residential community in northwest Tempe. The project introduces a modern industrial architectural vocabulary to the block that honors the context and history of the site. It is positioned to deliver 398 apartments, including 3 live-work units and a robust amenities package that includes a multi-use fitness court, an impressive fitness space with an open second-story mezzanine, multiple swimming pools, and a sky deck with mountain and city views. At the center rests the 4-story amenity tower; a jewel-box that serves as an active social hub for residents. The design is characterized by a simple, large-scale massing strategy and a high-contrast color scheme that breaks down the long, linear composition, thereby creating a more pedestrian friendly street edge. Live work units further activate the public edge along South Priest Drive.
