Bolsa Pacific reimagines the former Westminster Mall site as a transformative mixed-use city center that establishes a new civic and community heart for Westminster. Replacing an underutilized regional retail destination, the project introduces a vibrant, walkable district that integrates multifamily housing, for-sale townhomes, retail, dining, hospitality, and expansive public open space into a cohesive urban framework. As master architect, AO is leading the planning and design of the high-density residential, mixed-use, retail, and hotel components, helping to shape a long-term vision for a more connected and inclusive city center. The development is organized around a network of pedestrian-oriented streets, paseos, and open spaces that prioritize walkability and community engagement, including plazas, parks, and green corridors that link the site together. A diverse housing mix supports a broad range of residents, while active ground-floor uses and neighborhood-serving amenities create a lively and continuous public realm. Through close collaboration with city leadership and stakeholders, Bolsa Pacific establishes a new model for suburban reinvention, transforming a former mall into a resilient, mixed-use urban destination that supports Westminster’s continued growth, identity, and evolution.
