Named after the tree which blossoms during springtime, this active seniors project achieves the “Mountain Style” effect with its application of rugged fieldstone, siding, exposed trusses and strong gable forms. A simple main loop road wraps around the perimeter of the project to buffer the existing residents from the proposed structures. Four linear buildings housing 131 market rate active seniors units are placed alongside the outer loop road to form an internal contiguous common open space where the clubhouse is situated. The public amenities and pathways are meant to be resort type and interactive in nature to promote social interaction and networking amongst the residents.
