Design Architect

Cameo is a 192-unit residential community thoughtfully integrated within a larger master-planned environment in Chula Vista, California. Comprising four market-rate residential pads and one affordable housing pad, the development delivers a balanced and diverse housing offering that supports the broader vision of the Cota Vera community. The project introduces modern one- and two-bedroom residences organized within efficient four-story Type VA buildings, designed to maximize livability while responding to the surrounding context. Positioned at the intersection of natural open space, educational facilities, residential neighborhoods, and regional infrastructure, the site benefits from a unique combination of urban convenience and environmental adjacency. Careful planning ensures strong connectivity to adjacent uses, including Olympian High School, the 125 Toll Freeway, and the Otay River Valley, reinforcing both accessibility and a connection to landscape. The architecture emphasizes clarity and efficiency while maintaining a consistent residential character that aligns with the surrounding master plan. By balancing density, affordability, and market-rate housing within a cohesive framework, Cameo contributes to the ongoing development of a larger community vision while supporting a well-connected and livable residential environment.
