Tyson McGuire has more than three decades of experience in both multifamily and single-family residential architecture, paired with over 25 years of Revit expertise. His background includes eight years of service in the United States Marine Corps as a Military Police SRT, an experience that continues to inform his disciplined, detail-oriented approach to design and documentation. 

At AO, Tyson is valued for his technical depth, steady leadership, and commitment to delivering clear, buildable solutions. He approaches each project with precision and accountability, supporting teams through complex coordination while maintaining a strong focus on quality and constructability. 

Tyson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from California State University, Fullerton, and studied life drawing abroad in Rome, Italy. An Associate AIA member and advocate for supporting veterans in need, he is rarely seen without his service animal, Kemo Sabe, by his side.
