The proposed airport master plan for this 115-acre site aims to transform the facility into a premier aviation hub, supporting future growth, operational efficiency, and economic development. It includes a state-of-the-art 14-gate passenger terminal with integrated retail, hospitality, and dining, a new control tower, and a modern air cargo facility. Additionally, the plan features a 1,500-foot runway extension for larger commercial aircraft, new airline hangars, aircraft parking, cross-dock logistical buildings, and a 40-acre retail center. Complying with Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC) criteria, the project ensures adherence to occupancy restrictions and building regulations. This strategic investment will enhance airport capabilities, improve passenger experiences, create jobs, attract businesses, and support sustainable growth, positioning the airport as a key driver of economic development and global connectivity.
