Since 2014, AO has partnered with Panda Restaurant Group as a trusted architectural and design advisor, supporting the successful rollout of more than 100 restaurant locations across the United States and international markets. Serving as both Architectural Consultant and Design Director, AO’s Restaurants + Interiors studios have helped translate brand vision into scalable, market-responsive environments that support continued growth across diverse regions, including major expansions throughout the Midwest, West Coast, and international locations. 

Our team’s work has encompassed new restaurant prototypes, rebranding initiatives, concept development, and multi-location rollout programs. Key efforts have included the development of Panda Express prototype designs, a new prototype for Saudi Arabia, and concept refinement strategies that adapt the guest experience while maintaining brand consistency across varying markets and cultures. 

Beyond Panda Express, AO has supported several notable restaurant brands through prototype development, rebranding, and expansion initiatives, including Uncle Tetsu, Ippudo, and Kuro-Obi. These projects demonstrate our ability to create scalable design solutions that strengthen brand identity, enhance operational efficiency, and support long-term growth strategies across regional, national, and international portfolios.
